David ‘Greenie’ Green
Founder and Drum Teacher
‘RockAcad’ founder and drum tutor David ‘Greenie’ Green has many years of teaching, major label session work and worldwide touring experience.
He was voted ‘Best In Drums’ in the ‘Rhythm
Magazine/Music Radar’ 2016 Awards and has recorded and toured with the likes of: Sam Fender, Reef, Andy Taylor (Duran Duran), Little Comets, VANT, Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper), Ricky Warwick (Thin Lizzy), Smoove and Turrell and UK X-Factor.
He is an accomplished 1-2-1 & group class drum tutor, hosted masterclasses and workshops as well as having worked in some of the top London schools and music academies.
He studied drums under various teachers including Steve White (Paul Weller, Style Council, The Who, Oasis).
David is endorsed by: Natal Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, Evans Drumheads, Vater Drumsticks, Protection Racket Cases, Roland Electronics and Cympad Dampers.
